Lindnerhof Splint Front Chest Rig MX266 Tactical Vest - Flecktarn
Chest Rig tactical vest featuring Flecktarn camouflage. Engineered to deliver exceptional durability while maintaining a lightweight profile, the design offers full compatibility with the MOLLE/PALS system for optimal configuration versatility.
durable material, lightweight and robust construction
Constructed from advanced, lightweight, and durable MX laminate, the model stands out for its superior resistance to damage. The two-piece structure, featuring a belt and H-pattern harness, provides remarkable stability and ensures even distribution of carried gear weight.
A breathable mesh covers the harness, enhancing comfort and significantly improving ventilation during periods of intense physical activity.
Compatibility with MOLLE/PALS system, mounting loops
The front panel incorporates a laser-cut MOLLE/PALS system, ideal for securing pouches and accessories. The harness also includes laser-cut apertures designed for attaching extra modules or pouches. Furthermore, loops are integrated for routing radio cables or hydration system tubes, enhancing overall equipment organization.
zipper, snap buckles, adjustment system
A zipper secured by a front buckle is used to fasten the vest, with an additional snap buckle positioned at the back for extra security. Circumference can be adjusted through three-stage drawstrings located at the corners and along the belt, ensuring a precise fit to the wearer’s body. For further customization, a back knot-style draw permits the wearer to modify the width for an optimal fit with gear and equipment.
velcro panels for compatibility with other systems
Located on the inner panel of the vest are velcro panels, which enable secure attachment to a Plate Carrier vest. The MX266 model is also compatible with ballistic vests through the use of the RMPL144 adapter set (available separately), facilitating the integration of a unified load-bearing system.

Flecktarn camouflage
Flecktarn is a renowned German military camouflage pattern, formally adopted by the Bundeswehr in 1990. Featuring a composition of small, irregular spots in five distinct shades—commonly dark green, olive, brown, black, and beige—the pattern disrupts the wearer’s outline in woodland settings, dense shrubbery, and forest undergrowth. Thanks to the distribution of numerous dots and the soft transitions between hues, Flecktarn is highly effective for concealment across European climatic zones, particularly the temperate regions. To this day, Flecktarn serves as a standard camouflage among German armed forces as well as various military and law enforcement branches. Its proven performance has inspired multiple variants and adaptations across other nations.

The company designs advanced load-bearing systems and tactical vests, implementing proprietary technologies such as the Quick Release LT025 system, the silent Hakenschnalle hook buckle, and the Multi-Caliber L-Bar mechanism, which secures magazines of different calibers. Their products also feature the in-house MX (Multi-Axial Laminate) material, offering exceptional strength and moisture resistance. The brand’s origins date back to 2006, when founder Josef Sixt began sewing the first vests in his home basement after returning from service in Afghanistan. Today, Lindnerhof is part of the Mehler Systems group – a European leader in tactical and protective equipment, which also includes UF PRO (tactical clothing) and Mehler Protection (ballistic protection).

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.
MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.
PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.
LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.
