LKW Monkey XL by Radosław Łęgowik Fixed Blade Knife - Black G10

A robust knife utilizing a Full Tang design, fitted with black G10 laminate handles. Outfitted with a wide blade crafted from Bohler K720 O2 tool steel, perfectly suited for a variety of bushcraft applications. The knife was conceived and expertly handmade by Polish bladesmith Radosław Łęgowik.

Radosław Łęgowik stands out as a Polish bladesmith and the creator of the LKW - Libra Knife Works brand. Since 2007, he has been meticulously crafting knives by hand, following his own original designs—every knife is individually produced in his workshop where he personally oversees each stage, from hardening to heat treatment. His selection features both contemporary tactical knives and robust, fully operational survival knives.

Forged from high-carbon O2 Bohler K720 tool steel and hardened to 59 HRC, the blade delivers exceptional strength, outstanding crack resistance, and impressive edge retention thanks to the synergy of premium materials and precise heat treatment. With easy sharpening capabilities even in demanding outdoor environments, the steel is ideal for knives designed for bushcraft and wilderness applications.

Engineered with a Drop-Point blade profile, this knife offers a durable tip, straightforward maintenance, and excellent slicing performance. The blade measures 105 mm in length and has a thickness of 3.3 mm. Secure handling is provided by a well-contoured lower grip featuring a pronounced finger groove and a textured section beneath the thumb on the spine. A semi-flat grind along the cutting edge further enhances cutting efficiency.

Rugged G10 laminate handle scales deliver outstanding water resistance and exceptional mechanical durability. Featuring an anti-slip texture and ergonomic finger grooves, the grip offers reliable security and comfort in any situation. A lanyard hole is integrated into the rear of the handle for added versatility.

Included in the set is a durable sheath crafted from lightweight, damage-resistant Kydex material. Multiple holes and slots on either side of the sheath enable versatile attachment options to gear. A belt loop is integrated on the back of the sheath for secure belt mounting.
