Constructed from genuine nubuck leather and tough Cordura, the brown Z-8N GTX tactical boots offer exceptional durability. Ideal as versatile urban footwear, they are also suited for law enforcement officers and special unit operatives. Engineered for extended wear in demanding environments.

Breathable membrane, Climate Control insole

Constructed from materials offering superior water resistance, the footwear features a breathable and waterproof Gore-Tex membrane that enables internal moisture (perspiration) to escape while effectively blocking external moisture from penetration.

The Climate Control insole ensures a dry interior within the boot and helps prevent the development of corns.

Non-slip sole with profiled tread

The Lowa Tactical Z Trac outsole complies with the SRA slip resistance standard. Its profiled tread ensures outstanding grip on a wide range of surfaces.

The PU Monowrap sole keeps the boot lightweight while delivering optimal support for the foot, ensuring excellent stability and reliable impact protection. A specially designed insole within the midsole guards against abrasion during rapid rope descents.

Reinforced toe and heel areas feature an added layer of material along with an overmolded rubber sole component for enhanced protection. The ankle brace system, featuring a cushioned collar, helps shield the foot and ankle from injury and impact.

Quick lacing system, loop for easy insertion

Low-profile, streamlined metal grommets for shoelaces provide rapid lacing and fulfill the demands of skydiving footwear. The back loop on the boot enables effortless donning and removal.

I took them to Ben Nevis after a short period of wearing (they practically don’t need breaking in, but I wore them for a week before the mountain trip). This is without a doubt the best footwear I’ve ever had. I walked 16 km in them over rocks, through streams and by waterfalls, on snow and ice. I only slipped once (on ice) and my feet stayed dry even after walking in the snow. I definitely recommend these boots. I immediately ordered another pair.

I checked, ordered one pair of other LOWA shoes as well, and these definitely won. After some time, I don't regret this choice - the shoes are solid and very comfortable, they hold the ankles wonderfully. Anyone who has had the misfortune of twisting an ankle will definitely appreciate these shoes and feel confident and safe in them. I recommend them!

Shoes are supposedly for winter, but the sole completely disqualifies them. They are very slippery, you have to be careful in winter conditions so you don't break anything, and at -12 they no longer work, your feet freeze. On the plus side, the workmanship is definitely of a high level. For this price, I don't recommend them for winter.

After a year of use, I know this much: they are comfortable, they are durable, and my foot does not get tired after long walks. That's a plus. One minus – they are very slippery. You have to be careful when stepping on wet roots, as your foot can slip, and when walking on packed/snow-covered or icy surfaces, the shoes behave like skates. The hard sole is good and durable, but it is extremely slippery.

The shoes are completely unsuitable for winter; on snow, it’s dangerous to walk downhill and uphill in them (unless crawling on all fours). I'm waiting for them to break in because the insole size is my usual, yet they are tight. They get wet despite using waterproof spray. For this kind of money, it’s better to buy a better model or another brand. Unfortunately, I’m disappointed with the purchase. They can’t handle -10°C. The plus is that they are easy to put on and take off. They are super light. But this sole is not suitable for snow; probably won’t be good in rain either.

I bought them with some skepticism, but after wearing them every day for almost a month, I have to admit I don’t regret it; they’re worth every penny. I don’t feel like I have shoes on my feet, and they've also worked well in low temperatures, so far down to -15°C. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I agree with the other opinions. Truly one of the better Lowa models, great shoes. However, after receiving the Breacher model as a gift, I returned these. Comparing this model, the Breacher is better in terms of foot stability and even more solid workmanship. But this model has nothing to be ashamed of. As usual, express shipment and quick, hassle-free returns.

I planned to buy something a couple hundred cheaper, but after further thought... the delivered shoes were in perfect condition, nothing to complain about, no flaws, nothing unglued or badly stitched. In terms of size, they look large and heavy, but it turns out they are very light and comfortable for their size, which is a pleasant surprise, even after several hours of use. At first, they may feel a bit tight, but after a short time walking, they perfectly adjust to your foot. After several hours of use, whether in the city, building, fields, or forest—no fatigue or any discomfort for the foot. I recommend them for anyone looking for high boots that stabilize the foot well during outdoor use. It’s worth applying waterproofing products.

I thought about it for a long time due to the price, and I also tested other shoes that were half as expensive. My rating is a strong 5* after two weeks in the swamps. For maintenance, I recommend products especially antiaqua and nubuck renovation oils—this makes mud not stick to the shoes. And even if you step in ankle-deep, once they dry, the mud falls off on its own and you just need to wipe them lightly with a damp cloth. I recommend them.
