I have the GTX version of these shoes, but this model is about 200 grams lighter per pair. Although it might seem like a small difference, you can feel it when holding each shoe. Unlike the GTX version, I didn't have to break these in—they were comfortable from the start. I really liked the dark brown color; it goes perfectly with NATO olive shades. After walking 7 miles, my socks stayed dry, so the breathability of these shoes is much better, making them perfect for warmer days.

The shoes made a very good impression on me. They are a combination of the lightness and comfort typical of sneakers with the durability of professional tactical boots. The foot is well supported, even during extended walking or intense activities, and the sole offers great traction on various surfaces.

I bought these shoes as durable shoes for everything in the summer: I used them for trekking (probably a total of 600km; from the Kashubian forests through the Lofoten Islands and Abisko). I also use them at the shooting range and for "dirty work." The shoes are definitely durable: there are no cracks in the flex points, the sole is fine even after wearing them in granite mountains. The sole is not hard and does not have much cushioning - it's okay for everyday use, light hiking, but it's a bit worse in rough terrain or with a very heavy backpack. The shoes are wide, but the insole is terrible. I had to buy Superfeet insoles to stabilize my foot in the shoe. To sum up: great all-purpose shoes with some compromises. If someone is looking for shoes for tougher conditions (close to real trekking shoes) I recommend the Z-6N or Z-8N.

Great shoes, the best I've had. Plenty of room for toes, nothing chafes, I have a slim foot and to my surprise, I can lace them properly. I chose the version without Gore-Tex and they've worked excellently for years. Compared to Haix Black Eagle Desert, my feet hardly ever sweat, and I definitely don't get any chafing or numbness.

I recommend them, very comfortable shoes. This is my second pair of Zephyr and I'm satisfied with both. The version without Gore-Tex is perfect for summer, light and airy. The MK2 version has a much better sole, which doesn't slip as much as in the first generation.

Aside from being light and branded, unfortunately, in my opinion, the shoes fall short—they are totally unsuitable for narrow feet! So I do not recommend them. Even after taking them to a cobbler, not much could be done. Good for show, not for tactical use.

Very satisfied! Shoes without a membrane are light, breathable, have a super comfortable upper – no pressure points even when tightly laced. After the first wearing (and initial impregnation), I walked and ran about 15 kilometers through forests. No chafing, no blisters. The shoe's drop is minimal, the cushioning is gentle, but they are quite comfortable for running on trails. The sole is rather thin and allows you to feel the ground – these are not high-mountain shoes. But they're exceptionally grippy even on slippery roots on the trail. There is a moderate amount of space for toes (new shoes). I have wide feet and I fit comfortably, though they are not like Altras. If they break in a bit more over the next few weeks – they'll be ideal.

Great shoes, light, comfortable, and solid. Made with the highest quality. I especially recommend them to those who are undecided. Worth every penny. Don't hesitate, buy them!

These shoes probably don't need an introduction—it's a classic in an even better version. I recommend them to everyone; they work well in all conditions and are perfect for long marches because they provide great ankle support and are lightweight.
