Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam represents an advanced camouflage pattern created in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision, working in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. The design aimed to deliver a highly adaptable camouflage solution suitable for a broad range of terrains and fluctuating environmental conditions. Featuring seven distinct colors, the MultiCam pattern forms smooth gradient transitions between greens, browns, and beiges. This unique composition allows effective blending, shifting to green tones in wooded landscapes and adopting brown or beige hues in arid or desert environments—making it especially effective in Central and Eastern Europe during autumn or in areas with dry vegetation. MultiCam has achieved global acclaim, adopted by numerous military forces and special operations units around the world. Officially selected by the US Army in 2010 to equip troops in Afghanistan, it replaced the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also accessible to civilian users, earning widespread popularity among military enthusiasts and airsoft players.
