Camouflage MultiCam

MultiCam represents an advanced camouflage pattern, engineered in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision together with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) under the Objective Force Warrior initiative. Designed to serve as a versatile solution, the aim was to produce a camouflage effective across a range of terrains and variable environmental conditions. The MultiCam design features seven distinct colors, blending smoothly between shades of green, brown, and beige. This gradient effect allows seamless adaptation to different surroundings, selecting green tones for wooded landscapes or shifting toward browns and beiges in arid, desert-like areas. In Central and Eastern European settings, effectiveness peaks during autumn or amongst dried vegetation. MultiCam has been internationally acknowledged and adopted by a wide array of military forces and specialized units. In 2010, the US Army officially selected this camouflage for its personnel deployed to Afghanistan, superseding the prior Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Availability extends to the civilian market, making MultiCam a favored option for military hobbyists and airsoft players alike.

    A small patch that works great as a decorative element – you can attach it in various places, for example on the Velcro at the back of a cap. It works similarly to fluorescent airsoft pellets, meaning it absorbs light, so if you shine a flashlight on it, it continues to glow for a while afterwards.

    Great patch. The Velcro holds solidly on the backpack. Unfortunately, I can't give it 5/5 because one element in the eyelet started to peel off over time. It's not a big deal because it's easy to stick back on, but still. It also shines really well, even during the day if you stand in the shade :)
