The D-ring buckle strap is well made and has a large hook-and-loop surface, which prevents it from accidentally opening. It was purchased to attach equipment to a backpack or to secure a key to a belt.

A pretty solid strap, it has a velcro fastener and fits well with MOLLE systems. The plastic D-ring is perfectly sufficient for hanging even heavier items.
