I bought two pieces for my Savotta Jaakari M backpack to place on the straps—they worked excellently. After adding some load to the backpack, they noticeably improve carrying comfort. At first, I was a bit concerned because the straps on this Savotta model are quite wide, but luckily the Velcro fasteners on the pads are very sturdy and hold tightly, so you don't need much to keep everything in place. If necessary, I might consider purchasing two more for the hip belt, but for now, I will see how it carries without them. It's a well-made product, definitely worth its price.

Fantastic pad. With many uses, I use them as pads for the hip belt in the Wisport Sparrow 2 backpack, where the hip belt is just a wide strap. The pads are a bit too long for these straps, so you can either wrap them on the back of the backpack or cut and sew them. Either way, they work great in this role and now I can enjoy a more comfortable carrying of the hip belt in my backpack.

Great pad. It's long, thick, and of good quality. Essential for large bags. With the pad, carrying them is definitely more comfortable. The strap doesn't get tangled and even with heavy loads it doesn't dig into the shoulder.

For me, this is an awesome product. As a poodle dog, I didn't really want to wear a haversack on the original strap, even though it is quite wide and pleasant to the touch, and this turned out to be a great solution. The pad is thick and cushy, just wonderful. I think it will also work for heavy backpacks and it definitely helps a lot. Additionally: It is made of Cordura! But that's not all. Under the zippers on the outside (which no one mentioned) is a zipper that allows you access to the foam, which opens up new possibilities because you can add a different foam, e.g. from a sleeping pad—thinner, thicker, some EVA, etc.—and when it wears out you can just cut and insert a new one. That's a great idea for me. It's not true that it hardly fits a 50mm strap. Maybe someone measured it wrong. It fits perfectly and because of the zippers it bonds quite strongly with the strap. I don't know how long the zippers will last. Overall, probably one of the best shoulder pads you can get.

Very well-fitted pad - appropriately wide and soft to provide comfort where the shoulder strap presses on the shoulder. Mounted on a 5 cm wide strap - it fits tightly but holds firmly. It does not slip, very durable.

The pad is large and comfortable. Maybe it could be a bit wider because on a 5cm strap it is really snug. I recommend it for bags with heavier loads. It makes a difference.
