    I have been using them for over a year in my two BDU pants. Yes, they do not protect the knees as well as classic knee pads and they are not intended for protection against impacts - they are only meant to provide more comfortable kneeling in tough conditions. Since the price is so friendly, you can buy two pairs of pants. Cut the second pair smaller and add it above the knee. They will fit more tightly and you will gain double protection.

    Nice large protective inserts for pants. However, they won't fit Helikon pants in their original form, so you need to cut off the wings; after this procedure, the knees are comfortable even on rocks. A nice, comfortable option.

    Tested on humans :) After cutting the 'wings', I put them into Helikon UTPs and they’re just right for garden work. Light. Could be a bit wider at the bottom, but in 9/10 cases they always end up under the knee. I recommend - nice foams.
