Review for model:

This is a very good hydration bladder. I had previously owned several models from different brands, but at this price it is hard to find anything better. The tube is covered, which may help a bit with insulation, but above all it provides extra camouflage and reduces the risk of bending or getting pinched shut after accidental damage. I usually carry not very much water in it, but the capacity is quite large and so far there have been no sealing issues — no leaks or spills. The mouthpiece is also very good: it has an on/off switch and a cover on the tip, so dirt does not settle on the drinking area.

The M-Tac Hydration Bladder Gen 2 is a very good choice. The bladder itself is very well made, and after washing there is no taste of plastic (at least in my unit). The bladder is a perfect alternative to a regular bottle held in your hand or backpack during hikes. Personally, I use it in a Helikon Guardian Smallpack 7.5 l backpack. I think the 1.5l capacity of the bladder is ideal for it.
