The M-Tac Hydration Bladder Gen 2 is a very good choice. The bladder itself is very well made, and after washing there is no taste of plastic (at least in my unit). The bladder is a perfect alternative to a regular bottle held in your hand or backpack during hikes. Personally, I use it in a Helikon Guardian Smallpack 7.5 l backpack. I think the 1.5l capacity of the bladder is ideal for it.
