I'm just starting out with a compass and map, so I chose a cheap model simply to learn on. My first impressions are very positive. The most important thing is that the compass correctly shows directions and the dial works smoothly with noticeable resistance. The compass is equipped with a ruler, magnifying glass, and apparently glows in the dark, so I think it's completely sufficient for starters.
-
I bought the M-Tac Map Compass and I am very satisfied with it — it's a great tool for every trip and outdoor adventure, which is definitely worth having in your backpack or survival kit.
-
Simple construction compass, aesthetically made. Scale markings are clear, it happened that I dropped it on concrete and nothing happened. Essential for every traveler!
-
Solidly made, with clear markings that make map navigation easier. The needle stabilizes quickly, and the waterproof housing works well in tough conditions. Works reliably both in the mountains and in the forest. Great for this price.
-
For this price, there is nothing better so far. Perfect for beginners, the transparent design makes working with maps easier. Several scales, a ruler, a cord — what more could you want for this price.
-
The price-to-quality ratio is definitely positive. For beginners, it is sufficient, although the cheaper ones have a less precise needle and you have to be careful about metals around and whether the compass is held flat on the hand. Any tilting can affect the measurement.
-
The compass points well, although the knob is quite stiff, making it difficult to set precisely. However, for this price, there’s nothing to complain about; it will definitely work for learning.
-
The compass arrived slightly scratched, but in daylight you can't see it. For this price, it is very good and the compass is comfortable to use. Militaria.pl, please sort out your DHL couriers, because the same courier has called me before saying he got lost.
-
Very nice map compass, looks solid, has several scales which make map reading easier, shows north well, ideal for learning or as a gift, great for the money... At this price, worth it.
-
Small, light and convenient, but under nighttime conditions, when illuminated with a red light, the ruler's markings disappear and only their shadow is visible on the map, which makes plotting routes and determining distances more difficult.
-
A very good compass in this price range. It points north relatively quickly. Additionally, it has several scales which facilitate map reading. Well made.
-
Very good compass for this price range, needs a moment to settle after a quick spin but is definitely faster than, for example, those bracelet compasses; with slow or medium spin the needle keeps up calmly. I’m happy with the purchase.
-
For this price (19 PLN) you won't find a better compass that indicates north and other directions so precisely. Very intuitive to use, works great for checking azimuths. I recommend it.
-
Not only good but also cheap — the compass points directions like the others, and its compact size makes it easy to stash in any pocket.
