Compact foldable prismatic compass featuring a robust metal housing. Enables swift and precise orientation, azimuth determination, as well as calculation of distances and object dimensions.
Sighting compass functions are supported by side scales (in both metric and inch units), a lens sight, front and rear sights, and a map compass. Includes an integrated level for horizontal alignment, a hanging handle, and a threaded mount for attaching to tripods or theodolites.
The rotating compass dial contains liquid with added alcohol, preventing freezing, reducing vibrations, and making readings simple even when moving. Precise needle movement is ensured by a sapphire bearing. On the rear, tables of angles and gradients are provided to aid the user in making calculations.
An internal mirror is incorporated, simplifying value readings from the dial.
The kit is supplied with a nylon pouch featuring a belt loop and a suspension cord.
