The magazine pouch is really very well made, when placed on the belt it holds very firmly and the magazine sits in it very securely, but it is still very easy to draw it. I recommend it.

Open pouch designed to hold one magazine compatible with AK or AR platforms. Crafted from robust, abrasion-resistant 1000D Cordura and plastic for maximum durability.
A secure snap-fit retains the magazine, while a shock cord loop keeps it from coming loose unintentionally. Fast access is enabled thanks to the low profile design, which reveals most of the magazine for a solid, reliable grip.
Full compatibility with the MOLLE/PALS attachment system allows mounting on tactical vests, belts, or backpacks, and the front panel serves as an additional attachment option for extra accessories.

In the mini version, it's even easier to 'feel out' the magazine and draw it quickly. This does not come at the expense of the magazine's stability in the pouch, as it still sits securely enough not to worry about it falling out. An extra piece of material on the MOLLE strap makes installation easier. I recommend it.
