Very nice jacket. Lots of pockets, well made. It looks good. The sizing... hmm... hard to say. In my opinion, military clothes should be made with a bit of extra room, like for example the Helikon Patriot fleece, which is described as 132cm in the chest, but when I have 133cm, I still have plenty of space and can easily fit something underneath. Here, as with Pentagon softshells, the sizing is more for slim people. I had to take 2XL to fasten it around the chest, and I can barely fit a thin fleece underneath. Since I'm only 180cm tall, I look like I'm wearing a 3/4-length jacket :) But it's still okay :) The description on the site misled me a bit: "The fleece lining provides adequate thermal insulation." For me, a lining is something you can attach and detach, not something permanently integrated with the jacket. In reality, it is a nice, thin fleece, but you can't remove or attach it :)
Designed for year-round use, the Softshell jacket delivers reliable protection against harsh weather. Outfitted with a waterproof polyurethane membrane and durable YKK zippers, the jacket is ideal for members of uniformed services like the Army, Police, or Border Guard.
Constructed from a mix of tough polyester and stretchy spandex, the fabric features an additional impregnation, enhancing resistance to dirt and stubborn stains. The internal membrane shields against rainfall, causing water to bead on the surface rather than seeping into the fabric. A layer of fleece lining ensures effective thermal insulation.
A hood with a drawstring concealed within the tall collar guards the head from cold and wind. The waist can be adjusted with a drawstring, and the cuffs are secured with Velcro for a customized fit. Underarm ventilation openings allow for excellent airflow and temperature control.
The jacket features 8 functional pockets:
- two on the chest, designed for documents or identification cards,
- two side pockets with internal organizers and D-Rings,
- two sleeve pockets at shoulder level, each with cable outlets,
- one pocket on the left forearm,
- and a spacious poacher’s pocket located at the lower back.
Hidden identification panels in the chest pockets provide secure storage for ID or documents. A dedicated zippered slot at the hip area offers convenient access to a weapon holster. There are Velcro panels on both shoulders for attaching emblems like national flags, unit patches, or Morale Patches.

The jacket is comfortable and has plenty of pockets and compartments. It's definitely worth getting if you want to wear something else under the jacket, as there's room for it, although the jacket itself is quite warm. It's recommendable to take one size smaller. The look was less convincing, I was more persuaded by the Softshell, so I returned the jacket.

Good quality softshell. Effectively protects against bad weather conditions like wind or rain. Comfortable fit. The hood is deep enough. I recommend it to anyone looking for this type of jacket.
-
Great jacket for outdoor activities as well as everyday use. Warm with a large number of well-placed pockets. The hood hides in the collar, which is a big plus. And the pockets themselves are very roomy with many compartments inside. I recommend it.

Great jacket. I'm very satisfied with it. For me, it's not suitable for subzero temperatures, but around +5 degrees it works perfectly. It protects against wind and rain. Superbly placed pockets and a nice feature with the zippered sides. In my opinion, the price is also attractive.

The jacket is really good, when it comes to price-quality it's a really good range. The fabric is windproof, so it fulfills its function as it should. The softshell is suitable for light rain, but remember that's not really its main function. For civilians, the chest pockets are nice because the inserts can be detached and replaced with velcro inserts (handmade). Cons: the zippers tend to get stuck and the sleeve pocket is sewn in poorly, so when you use the adjustment straps, it just folds and access is difficult.

Fits well, nicely arranged pockets, insulation on the inside. I truly recommend it 100%.

Good jacket, has many functional pockets, works well when you want to carry EDC.

I fully recommend the jacket. Perfectly chosen size, nice pocket arrangement, soft fleece on the inside. M-Tac manufacturing quality deserves full respect. I really recommend it.
