Camouflage MultiCam

MultiCam represents a highly advanced camouflage design introduced in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision, in partnership with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), under the Objective Force Warrior project. Developed to deliver an adaptable camouflage solution, the aim was to ensure optimal effectiveness across diverse terrains and fluctuating environmental conditions. Featuring a palette of seven distinct colors, the MultiCam pattern produces smooth gradient transitions among green, brown, and beige hues. Such composition allows the pattern to seamlessly blend into its surroundings, exhibiting greener tones in forests and earthy browns or beige in arid and desert settings. Particularly suited to Central and Eastern European landscapes, MultiCam performs exceptionally during autumn or among dried vegetation. The pattern has achieved global acclaim, currently utilized by a wide range of military and special operations units. In 2010, the US Army officially selected MultiCam for troops deployed in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Widely accessible to civilians as well, the pattern enjoys great popularity among military enthusiasts and airsoft communities.
