The machete itself is quite good for the price. However, I bought it as a gift... When I was looking at it at home, I wanted to put it into the included sheath, which was important to me. Unfortunately, the sheath is unusable, I could hardly believe how badly it is made. The metal part that attaches the closure to the sheath sticks out on the inside, making it impossible to put the machete in without scraping metal against the blade. I tried every way, thought maybe I hadn’t unfastened something, but the sheath is just poorly designed. When I tried to insert the machete, the black finish on its tip got scratched, so I stopped trying. Even if I didn’t care about scratching new equipment, this element simply makes it hard to put the machete in the sheath, since the sides of the sheath are stiff and concave, and the metal piece offers much resistance. The gift is already damaged, partially unusable (what’s the point of a sheath for a machete if you can’t put it in?). I’m very dissatisfied with the product; the only thing that saves it is the price, that’s why I give it two stars, not one. If the sheath was just low quality, I wouldn’t have a problem, since at this price I didn’t expect a hand-made leather sheath, but the fact that it damages the machete is unacceptable, even at this price level. If it was softer, maybe I could at least bend it so the machete wouldn’t scratch against the protruding metal stud. If by some miracle I could remove the stud, there’d be no belt closure. I’m very disappointed and I don’t know if I’ll even give it as a gift, since there is already a scratch on the finish. I definitely won’t include the sheath with the present.

A machete inspired by the renowned model used by the US Army, crafted from 3Cr13 stainless steel for outstanding sharpness and lasting durability. The upper edge of the blade is fitted with a serrated saw for enhanced functionality.
Constructed from a single steel piece, the blade features a black protective coating that offers corrosion resistance as well as anti-reflective properties. The Bakelite handle is secured to the blade with 4 rivets, and a lanyard hole is integrated at the end of the handle for attaching a securing cord.
A polymer sheath is included, enabling convenient attachment of the tool to a belt.

This is a very great machete, it looks cool, feels good and has a great feel. Although when i received it the handle was just a little jiggly, i fixed it with tape.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality. Sits well in the hand, the sheath is solid. It's better to have a separate saw but for cutting through bushes it's great. I haven't tested chopping wood yet but it seems it will handle it.
