A knife that stands out from the competition but is not practical for use. The quality of materials, workmanship, precision of fitting, and design are all at a premium level. Unfortunately, the system itself, although original, is unreliable and unstable. Unlike other knives, here the spring does not open the blade fully, it only gives it momentum. For two-thirds of the way, the blade opens by inertia alone, and even minor friction (e.g., the release lever not being pressed firmly enough) is enough to prevent it from opening fully and for the lock to engage. And conversely, if you press the lever too hard, and there is no friction at all against the lock pin, the blade gains too much speed, bounces off the stop, and the lock still does not engage. If you overlook the lack of a locked blade after opening, you can end up injuring yourself. Unfortunately, in practice, I will probably stick with the Hunter model, with a regular latch.
