The shoes are very comfortable right from the first wear, I didn't have to break them in for long, which surprised me. They hold the ankle well and even work well on wet surfaces. They're a bit heavier than I expected, but that makes them feel solid. For this price, they're really a decent option for the forest and everyday walking.

The shoes look different than in the pictures. The Cordura is dark green, while Militaria uploads pictures with black or brown. In reality, the shoes look really nice. They're okay, but I expected more from Magnum. The Lynx 8.0 set the bar high. The sole is just so-so, not really bad, but much better in Lynx. Waterproofing is a big plus, there's no chance they will get soaked. They also breathe well and don't stink (another plus). I wore the shoes for about 3 months (used them daily). Even after this time, you could still smell the new shoe scent, both inside and outside after taking them off. The shoes are rather for wide feet. Cons: The tongue is poorly designed, the material comes out from under the seam. This happened on both shoes of the pair, I sent them for a claim and it was accepted without any problem. I won't buy them again. In my case, the reinforcement at the heel started to cause terrible blisters after some time.
