In terms of quality, the wombat shirt is made very well, but Maskpol probably sews them for tank crews. I'm 187 cm tall, took XXL size, and when I stretch my arms forward, the cuff ends up in the middle of my forearm.
Maskpol Combat Shirt CS-02 - MAPA
Tactical Combat Shirt with MAPA camouflage is ideal for tactical exercises, survival scenarios, airsoft, and outdoor recreational use. Constructed from lightweight, elastic fabric, it ensures an optimal body fit, regulates temperature efficiently, and provides effective moisture management.
Sleeves reinforced with Rip-Stop weave, elastic material on the body
Sleeves are crafted from a robust blend of polyester and cotton, offering exceptional resistance to tearing and abrasion. Thanks to the Rip-Stop construction, the material resists ripping and fraying, even if damaged locally. The remainder of the sweatshirt utilizes stretchable and breathable fabric (95% polyester, 5% lycra), delivering softness to the touch and maintaining optimal thermoregulatory properties.
Adjustable cuffs, high collar, pockets for elbow protectors
Cuffs secured with velcro allow for easy adjustment, ensuring a precise fit to the wrist's thickness. The design features a padded collar offering neck protection against wind, secured with a short zipper. Flat pockets are included to facilitate the use of elbow protectors.
Shoulder pockets, velcro panels
Both shoulders feature button-fastened patch pockets. Velcro panels on these pockets enable the attachment of various emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches, lending the sweatshirt a personalized touch.
MAPA camouflage
The MAPA camouflage pattern was developed by Maciej Dojlitko, an alumnus and current researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He is also the author of publications such as Theory of Deconstruction of Visual Communication and Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdansk 2015). Blending innovative concepts with robust theoretical and experimental foundations, which included extensive computer analysis of thousands of terrain images, MAPA quickly drew the attention of military apparel experts and manufacturers. Its official unveiling occurred in 2017 at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, where it debuted as the camouflage pattern for the Dromader uniform and equipment system by Maskpol, a branch of the Polish Armaments Group. Originally engineered for the Territorial Defense Forces, the MAPA pattern was also evaluated as a potential successor to the camouflage wz.93 for the entire Polish Armed Forces. Despite its potential, the MAPA pattern has yet to be adopted as the official camouflage of the Polish Army.
Main features of the MAPA camouflage in its standard forest version:
- 6 colors layered to resemble topographic map contours,
- tones specifically optimized for operations within Central European forests,
- integration of three-dimensional illusions and anamorphosis effects,
- biomorphic elements that mimic natural vegetation,
- bold contrast components that reflect light flashes and shadow effects,
- macro patterns engineered to break up and distort the wearer’s silhouette,
- fine-scale color noise achieved through micro-pattern detailing.
The MAPA camouflage represents a compelling alternative to leading modern camouflage systems like PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn, or the Finnish M/05. In several aspects, the design is even more advanced, especially in its accurate rendering of the hues found in Central European forests from late spring through early autumn.

Good quality of material and workmanship. MASKPOL is a producer of good quality products. Fits perfectly. Comfortable to wear. In my opinion, the collar is a bit too loose, but that's not necessarily a flaw. I think the shirt is worth recommending.
