The only reason I bought these pants was the camouflage. The material is pleasant, but the sizing is really badly chosen, because the pants are too short.

MAPA Camouflage
The MAPA camouflage pattern was developed by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and current researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. He is also the author of several publications, including Theory of Deconstruction of Visual Communication. Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdańsk 2015). The pattern’s innovative concept is grounded in robust theoretical and experimental foundations, such as computer analyses of thousands of terrain photographs, which have drawn significant interest from specialists and manufacturers of military apparel. The MAPA camouflage was first showcased in 2017 at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, where it was used as the camouflage pattern for the Dromader equipment and uniforms system by Maskpol, a company within the Polish Armaments Group. Conceived for soldiers in the Territorial Defense Forces, the MAPA pattern has also been considered as a potential replacement for the wz.93 camouflage across the Polish Armed Forces. To date, however, the MAPA camouflage has not been officially adopted as standard issue within the Polish Army.
The main features of MAPA camouflage in the basic forest variant
- 6 colors arranged in layers resembling contour lines on a map
- Colors specifically optimized for Central European forest environments
- Application of three-dimensional illusion and anamorphic effects
- Biomorphic forms lending the pattern a likeness to natural vegetation
- Highly contrasting details simulating flashes of light and shadow
- Macro-scale design that disrupts and deforms the wearer’s silhouette
- Micro pattern providing color noise for enhanced concealment
The MAPA pattern stands out as a compelling alternative to leading modern camouflage solutions, such as PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn, or Finnish M/05. In several aspects, the pattern offers more advanced features and achieves superior representation of Central European forest colors during the late spring to early autumn season.

The advantages of these pants are the pleasant material and MAPA camo, and that's where it ends. The material wears out quickly, but the worst thing is the sizing. I'm 187 cm tall, took the long version, and when I kneel, the leg ends at the middle of my calf. Unfortunately, I can't recommend them.
