Maskpol CP-02 Military Pants - MAPA

Robust and comfortable military pants featuring a cut inspired by wz.2010, crafted from Rip-Stop fabric in distinctive MAPA camouflage. The CP-02 trousers are ideal for tactical exercises, survival, airsoft, and other outdoor recreational pursuits.

US-23 fabric, utilized in the construction of these trousers, blends soft cotton with robust polyester in a balanced 50/50 mix. Lightweight and breathable, the material is comfortable against the skin. Enhanced by a Rip-Stop weave, it offers exceptional resistance to tearing and abrasion.

The waistband, secured with a button, features sewn-in elastic panels, while the fly utilizes a zipper closure. Belt loops accommodate belts up to 50 mm wide. The lower leg openings are fitted with an adjustable drawstring for a customized fit.

An extra layer of material provides reinforcement on the seat area of the trousers. Integrated pockets at knee height on the inner side of the legs accommodate protective pads and feature rubber drawstrings. The front belt loop is equipped with an additional carabiner attachment point.

The MAPA camouflage pattern was developed by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and current researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. He is also the author of several publications, including Theory of Deconstruction of Visual Communication. Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdańsk 2015). The pattern’s innovative concept is grounded in robust theoretical and experimental foundations, such as computer analyses of thousands of terrain photographs, which have drawn significant interest from specialists and manufacturers of military apparel. The MAPA camouflage was first showcased in 2017 at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, where it was used as the camouflage pattern for the Dromader equipment and uniforms system by Maskpol, a company within the Polish Armaments Group. Conceived for soldiers in the Territorial Defense Forces, the MAPA pattern has also been considered as a potential replacement for the wz.93 camouflage across the Polish Armed Forces. To date, however, the MAPA camouflage has not been officially adopted as standard issue within the Polish Army.

In several aspects, the pattern offers more advanced features and achieves superior representation of Central European forest colors during the late spring to early autumn season.
