Tactical vest TMP-02 Plate Carrier variant featuring a practical Zip-On backpack. Crafted from resilient MAPA camouflage Cordura 770, this model is intended to hold SAPI-type hard ballistic plates in S, M, and L sizes. Ideally suited for military personnel, other uniformed services, and advanced ASG enthusiasts.
Front and rear panels of the vest are outfitted with MOLLE/Pals webbing, allowing for arrangement of pouches and accessories based on the user's requirements. The side cummerbund sections with adjustable fit are also lined with MOLLE/Pals webbing.
Durable ROC 40 and ROC 80 quick-release buckles are employed in the TMP-02 vest. A velcro (hook-and-loop) panel is present on the chest, ready for attaching insignia, flags, badges, or Morale Patches.
Shoulder areas feature comfort pads integrated with a spacer mesh, providing optimal ventilation and comfort during wear. Extra webbing on the shoulders enables cable attachment.
Included is a backpack with a rapid attachment system, secured to the vest using both MOLLE webbing and two zippers. Additional Velcro panels and MOLLE webbing make it possible to use the backpack separately as an independent pouch or bag.
The MAPA camouflage was conceptualized by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, known for authoring Theory of visual communication deconstruction. Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdańsk 2015). The forward-thinking design relies on solid theoretical and experimental research, including digital analysis of thousands of landscape images, which garnered the interest of military textile manufacturers and professionals. MAPA camouflage was unveiled in 2017 at the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce as a pattern for the Dromader gear and uniform line from Maskpol, part of the Polish Armaments Group. Initially developed for Territorial Defence Forces personnel, MAPA was also evaluated for potential adoption by all Polish Armed Forces as a replacement for wz.93 camouflage. Nonetheless, MAPA camouflage has not officially been adopted by the Polish Army.
Main features of MAPA camouflage in the basic forest variant:
- 6 colors layered to mimic topographic contours,
- color scheme fine-tuned for Central European woodland operations,
- application of three-dimensional illusion and anamorphosis effects,
- biomorphic forms echoing plant life,
- strong contrast elements simulating highlights and shadow,
- macro-patterned distortion of the wearer's outline,
- micro-pattern-based color disruption for added concealment.
MAPA stands out as a compelling alternative to leading camouflage designs like PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn, or Finnish M/05. In several aspects, MAPA surpasses these patterns, offering superior representation of Central European forest colors from late spring through early autumn.

A good set at a great price. The plate carrier itself is well-made and has plenty of space to attach accessories to the MOLLE. The included backpack easily holds equipment for half a day at the shooting range or during a tactical outing.

Very good vest, a lot of space for velcro if you like that, the backpack is handy, plenty of room to use on the vest itself for accessories. I just don't know how to adjust the sides because I'm skinny, but maybe that's a sign I need to gain weight.

Solidly made, well thought-out, without unnecessary gimmicks. Exactly how a plate carrier should be. Sewn with molle straps that don’t tear off or have their seams come undone. Comfortable and you don't sweat so much in it. I recommend it.

The vest is comfortable, with many adjustment options. It's a bit of a shame that there is no space for side plates. The pocket on the front panel is too small to fit a phone, but it's definitely suitable for smaller items.
