Maskpol Pro Military Pants - MAPA B

Military trousers crafted from robust fabric blending polyester and cotton in a Rip-Stop pattern. Outfitted with 12 ergonomically placed pockets. The CPP-02 pants are designed mainly for civilian use, while also meeting the demands of professionals in various service fields.

US-23 fabric, used for crafting the pants, is composed of a blend of soft cotton and robust polyester in an even 50/50 proportion. The fabric remains lightweight, breathable, and exceptionally comfortable to the touch. Thanks to its Rip-Stop weave, the material provides superior resistance to abrasion and tearing.

Outfitted with 12 practical pockets for optimal utility:

• two hip inset pockets
• two rear pockets secured with flaps
• two spacious cargo pockets featuring flap closures
• two front thigh pockets with flap closures
• two calf pockets fastened with both buttons and flaps
• two dedicated thigh pockets designed specifically for magazine storage

Elastic inserts are integrated into the rear waistband, knees, and crotch for increased flexibility. The pants feature a robust velcro fastening for waist adjustment, while the fly is secured with a zipper. At knee height, the legs are equipped with a velcro strap to enable adjustment of leg circumference. Additionally, dedicated pockets inside the legs at the knee level accommodate protective pads.

The MAPA camouflage pattern was created by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and current researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, and also the author of several works, including Theory of Deconstruction of Visual Communication. Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdańsk 2015). This advanced concept, grounded in extensive theoretical studies and experimental work—including computer-assisted analysis of thousands of terrain photographs—quickly drew the attention of industry experts and manufacturers specializing in military apparel. The year 2017 marked the first public presentation of MAPA camouflage at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce, where it was featured as the designated pattern for the Dromader uniform and equipment system from Maskpol, a part of the Polish Armaments Group. Although initially developed for Territorial Defense Army personnel, the MAPA pattern was also seen as a potential standard for the entire Polish Armed Forces, potentially replacing the wz.93 camouflage. Despite these prospects, MAPA has yet to be officially adopted as the standard camouflage of the Polish Army.

The MAPA camouflage stands out as a compelling alternative to leading contemporary patterns including PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn, as well as Finnish M/05. In certain aspects, MAPA offers even greater advancement and more accurately replicates the range of colors characteristic of Central European forests from late spring through early autumn.
