The purchase at militaria.pl went smoothly and without any problems. The ordered Mechanix Durahide Leather Needlestick Law Enforcement puncture-resistant gloves meet my expectations. At first, they are quite stiff, but thanks to this they fit well to the hand during use. These gloves are made mainly for work and protection, not for comfort “straight out of the box.” The craftsmanship is at a high level; the materials give the impression of being solid and durable. I am satisfied with both the product and the professional service of the store. I recommend it.
Mechanix Durahide Leather Needlestick Law Enforcement Anti-puncture Gloves - Black
Puncture-resistant gloves crafted for exceptional flexibility and rugged durability. Specially designed padding offers reliable protection against cuts and punctures from blades at any angle.
Exterior made of leather, interior covered with fiberglass layer
The exterior of the gloves utilizes durable DuraHide natural leather, delivering superior resistance to wear and tear during demanding tasks. The inner grip area is lined with a fibreglass layer engineered with ArmorCore technology, offering high puncture resistance. This protective material extends across the entire palm and fingertips, ensuring ASTM F2878 level 2 protection against needle punctures.
Reinforced with textured AX G-Series inserts on the grip side, the gloves provide outstanding traction and enhanced handling security. Additional durability is achieved by stitching with Kevlar threads.
Short cuffs, touchscreen capability
The fabric enables seamless touchscreen use while keeping your gloves on. A short cuff with a Velcro strap guarantees a secure fit while maintaining full wrist flexibility.
Important information
Prior to initial use, the gloves require a heat-molding process to ensure a precise fit to the user's hand. Achieving an optimal fit greatly enhances tactile sensitivity and range of movement.
Engineered for professional military personnel and special forces operators, the gloves also deliver outstanding performance during survival missions and airsoft engagements.
Protection standard
The gloves comply with the American protective standard ANSI/ISEA 105 at level 4A75, delivering advanced protection against cuts, abrasions, and punctures:
- 4: abrasion resistance (rated from 1 to 6)
- A7: cut resistance (rated from A1 to A9)
- 5: puncture resistance (rated from 0 to 5)
Gloves adhere to the EN388 standard at level 4X44F with respect to mechanical hazard protection:
- 4: abrasion resistance (scale: 0–4)
- X: cut resistance (scale: 0–5)
- 4: tear resistance (scale: 0–4)
- 4: puncture resistance (scale: 0–4)
- F: cut resistance – TDM test (ISO 13997) (scale: A–F)
The gloves fulfill the requirements of the American ASTM F2878 standard at level 2 for needle puncture protection, which denotes:
- 2: needle puncture resistance (scale: 1–5)
Within the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, abrasion resistance is measured on a 1 to 6 scale, indicating the number of cycles a material withstands before failing. Cut resistance is ranked from A1 to A9, ranging from minimal to maximum protection. Puncture resistance appears on a 0 to 5 scale, showing the force required to penetrate the glove surface with a sharp probe (not including needle punctures).
EN388 standard scales specify glove protection levels: 0 indicates no protection, while higher values (4, 5) represent maximum resistance.
The TDM method (ISO 13997) assigns letter codes to protection levels, where A reflects minimal protection and F denotes the highest.
ASTM F2878 specifies a test procedure for assessing materials’ defense against hypodermic needle puncture, with protection levels from 1 (basic resistance) to 5 (maximum protection), expressing the force in newtons necessary to pierce the glove.
The X symbol means that a particular parameter has not been tested or is not applicable.

Very thick, best compared to hockey gloves. They will definitely provide protection against cuts and accidental punctures, but you have to keep in mind that safety goes hand in hand with the appropriate thickness of the layer.
-
Solid workmanship, you can feel the premium quality. Well-fitted, better wearing comfort, use, and tactile sensation when controlling things with your fingers. Time will tell how long they last and whether they are truly as puncture-resistant and anti-static as advertised.

Average product, wrong price. Due to the nature of my work, I have already gone through quite a few types of these gloves and was really disappointed with these. The quality of workmanship is not the highest. The promotional video is nice, but using the gloves in real-life conditions does not look so great. I think the gloves are overrated and the price too. It's worth noting that they were manufactured in the Philippines, while my previous Mechanix gloves were made in the USA.

Beautifully made, thick, rugged and solid gloves. High durability, very comfortable. I definitely recommend them – I am thoroughly impressed!
-
Top class gloves. The only problem for me is that they are very stiff and I can’t fully extend my thumb. Additionally, they’re a bit thick, but that’s probably because of the leather and reinforced stitching. Maybe they’ll stretch a little more, but overall I highly recommend them, 100%. This definitely won't be the last pair of these gloves I buy.

I bought them due to the specifics of my job. I was impressed with another model (M-PACT 3), which fits perfectly and doesn’t restrict hand movement. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this model because of the lack of precision in movements. Appearance 10/10, workmanship 9/10 (my model is sewn crookedly, protruding threads – unacceptable in this class and price of gloves), comfort 5/10, durability 10/10. Do I recommend them? Depends on the use. The price is a bit steep, in my opinion overrated.

I bought them because of the specific requirements of my job. I was delighted with another model (M-PACT 3) which fits perfectly and doesn’t restrict hand movement. Unfortunately, this model disappointed me due to the lack of possibility to perform precise movements. Appearance 10/10, build quality 9/10 (my model is stitched crookedly, loose threads stick out — unacceptable at this class and price), comfort 5/10, durability 10/10. Would I recommend them? It depends on the use. The price is a bit prohibitive, in my opinion overrated.

I had the opportunity to test them and I’m impressed, although the price is a bit high. But you get what you pay for – quality costs.
