Mechanix supposedly defends itself, but when you touch and check them yourself, it's a different story: I've been using these gloves intensively for over two weeks, they fit my hands very well, they're comfortable, and the tactile sensation is really excellent—I'm not disappointed, which is exactly why I chose this model. They could have a better grip, but it's okay. You can get used to it and adjust your hold to avoid slipping. So far, it doesn't look like anything is going to wear through (which I was a bit worried about since the fabric on the fingers is really thin), wear out, stretch, or tear (and I use them quite hard almost every day). The price is acceptable, although, as with any price, it always seems too high. I recommend them and give 5*.

I have small hands for an adult man, so it's always hard for me to find gloves that are neither loose nor too tight, but these Mechanix gloves in size S fit my hands perfectly. The gloves are noticeably breathable, so the hand doesn't suffocate but it means they keep your hands only slightly warm. Wearing them at 15 degrees is just right, but below that it gets cold, at 20 degrees or more your hand shouldn’t sweat much. They barely restrict freedom of movement. I bought them as shooting range gloves (I shoot both black powder and modern weapons) and the only thing I couldn’t do with the gloves on was put caps on the nipples. Other than that, you hold the weapon very well in these gloves; they are more non-slip than bare hands. Overall, gloves 10/10 for 25-15 degrees.
