Mechanix Precision Pro High-Dexterity Grip Gloves - Covert

Black tactical gloves crafted from robust synthetic leather, perfect for law enforcement, military applications, and shooting sports enthusiasts.

Padlock coating, touchscreen support

Featuring a two-piece palm area, the gloves are predominantly equipped with an anti-slip silicone Padlock coating. The thumb and index finger areas are smooth, enabling touchscreen operation and enhancing dexterity and accuracy—ideal for precision tasks like trigger manipulation.

TrekDry material, notched ankle and anatomical seams

The upper section of the gloves utilizes lightweight TrekDry fabric, conforming to the hand’s shape while offering excellent breathability. Enhanced trigger finger agility is achieved through knuckle cutouts, delivering effortless and accurate shooting. The glove’s seams are engineered to mirror the hand’s natural contours, providing a secure and comfortable fit.

short cuff, Velcro fastening and TPR shield

A short cuff design ensures unrestricted wrist mobility, while a comfortable velcro closure is paired with a durable external thermoplastic rubber (TPR) shield. A practical nylon loop is included for easy hanging or attachment.

ANSI/ISEA 105-4XX and EN 388-2121X standard

These gloves meet the American safety standard ANSI/ISEA 105 at level 4XX for cut, abrasion, and puncture resistance, which includes the following:

  • 4: abrasion resistance (scale of 1 to 6)
  • X: cut resistance (scale of A1 to A9)
  • X: puncture resistance (scale of 0 to 5)

These gloves conform to the EN388 standard at level 2121X for defense against mechanical hazards, defined as:

  • 2: abrasion resistance (scale of 0–4)
  • 1: cut resistance (scale of 0–5)
  • 2: tear resistance (scale of 0–4)
  • 1: puncture resistance (scale of 0–4)
  • X: cut resistance – TDM test (ISO 13997) (scale from A–F)

Within the ANSI/ISEA 105 guidelines, abrasion resistance is measured on a scale from 1 to 6, representing the number of cycles required for the material to wear through. Cut resistance is graded from A1 to A9, with A1 providing the least protection and A9 the most. Puncture resistance ranges from 0 to 5 and indicates the force needed to penetrate the glove surface with a pointed object, excluding needle punctures.

The EN388 scales specify glove protection ratings: 0 means no protection, while values of 4 or 5 signify the highest levels of resistance.

For the TDM (ISO 13997) test, a letter system is applied, where A denotes the lowest protection, and F represents the highest.

An X symbol shows that a particular aspect was not assessed or does not apply.

A great set of gloves from mechanix wear. Excellent fit but choose your size wisely...They come tight on your size and need some time to stretch for perfect fit. Very good grip and all around feeling.

These gloves fit great and are very comfortable, but if you want more precise movements, I recommend choosing a smaller size. They provide excellent grip, especially when it’s raining.

The gloves seem to get better after several uses. Hands get used to them and shooting in them becomes natural. They provide high precision and the special layer ensures a good grip and excellent adhesion. Highly recommended gloves.

The gloves are very comfortable to use, the grip is very secure, tested in the gym as well as on a manual weapon. The quality of workmanship is impeccable, highly recommended.

Great tactical gloves! Very well fitted (the sizing matched me perfectly), with a fantastic layer that makes gripping easier – it really works without overly hindering precise maneuvers. The Velcro is solid, nothing comes undone. After a year of using another pair, I haven't noticed any significant signs of wear. It’s worth noting the lack of a cuff, which provides freedom of wrist movement (but if someone is looking for gloves that also protect against the cold, this could be an issue). Highly recommended!

Very good and durable gloves made of solid materials, they work great both during training and combat operations. Comfortable for ADC, they have practical hooks for a carabiner and provide a secure grip.

The gloves are awesome. Very snug fit, but since they are supposed to allow precise actions, that's how they have to be. First impression was 'too small', but after a few visits to the shooting range I think they're perfect. You can easily load and shoot, the feel on the trigger is obviously a bit different than with bare hands, but still delicate and allows for great control. The short cuff is definitely a plus. They look great. I give them 5/5.

Mechanix Precision Pro has great grip thanks to the textured interior, and the well-chosen size gives a sense of precision. The stitching is very strong but there is a limited choice of colors. I would gladly buy them in olive drab or taiga green.

The gloves are very comfortable, fit the hand perfectly, provide work confidence, the size chart matches the actual product, and the promotional price is also an advantage, so it's worth it. I recommend.

Probably the most comfortable gloves from Mechanix. Not too thick, not too thin, plus an interesting Padlock coating. They will probably work in any situation. I recommend them!!!

  15. M...

Gloves bought specifically for using firearms in cold weather. Well-fitted, they stick to practically every surface, so the grip is stable, but at the same time they are thin, so you can feel everything – both the trigger and the controls. They're also great for holding a car steering wheel; there's no chance of slipping. We'll see about durability and getting dirty, but after several shooting sessions and daily use without sparing them, they're still clean.
