The gloves are great. I use them in winter on my scooter and electric bike; even at -10 degrees and lower, my hands stay warm. It's crucial to set the temperature correctly in the app. The price is quite high, but it's really worth it.
Mechanix Wear ColdWork M-Pact Heated Gloves Brown/Black
Heavy-duty insulated tactical gloves featuring Clim8 technology—an advanced heating system that activates automatically upon wearing. This intelligent system maintains and regulates ideal glove temperature independent of external conditions. With a dedicated app, users can customize settings for optimal thermal comfort according to individual preferences. Powered by two 7.4V 3000mAh batteries, the gloves can be conveniently recharged using the included charger.
ANSI/ISEA 105-4XX and EN511-231 standards
These gloves conform to the American protection standard ANSI/ISEA 105 at level 4XX, offering high cut, abrasion, and puncture resistance, meaning:
- 4: abrasion resistance (rated on a scale from 1 to 6)
- X: cut resistance (measured on a scale from A1 to A9)
- X: puncture resistance (graded from 0 to 5)
Protection against cold meets the requirements of the EN511 standard at level 231, meaning:
- 2: resistance to convective cold (scale 0–4)
- 3: resistance to contact cold (scale 0–4)
- 1: resistance to water penetration (scale 0 or 1)
According to the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, abrasion resistance is assessed on a scale from 1 to 6 and indicates the number of abrasion cycles the fabric withstands before breaking down. Cut resistance is indicated within a range from A1 to A9 (A1 being the lowest, A9 being the highest protection). Puncture resistance is evaluated from 0 to 5, reflecting the force required to puncture the glove surface with a sharp probe (excluding needle punctures).
For EN511, the water resistance scale states: 0 indicates penetration, 1 indicates no penetration.
In the TDM test method (ISO 13997), letters designate the ratings, with A as the lowest protection and F as the highest.
The letter X specifies that the parameter has not been tested or does not apply.
Made of DuraHide leather, non-slip surface
Constructed from robust DuraHide leather and reinforced with nylon stitching, these gloves deliver superior durability. The leather offers exceptional resistance against mechanical wear, while its non-slip texture ensures a secure grip during use. Specialized material on the grip-side fingertips enables touchscreen device operation without removing the gloves.
PrimaLoft 133g Gold insulation, D30 4mm panels
PrimaLoft Gold synthetic insulation with a weight of 133g delivers excellent warmth and ensures optimal thermal comfort. Enhanced hand protection is achieved through 4mm D3O panels, which efficiently absorb and disperse impact energy. The glove construction permits natural finger movement and enables a secure fist grip.
Extended, fitted cuffs
Elongated cuffs are fitted with Velcro closures, enabling precise wrist adjustment for optimal fit. ABR level 4 protection against abrasion (on a 0-6 scale) in accordance with the ANSI standard is provided by these gloves.
Mechanix gloves are engineered for use by professional military personnel and special unit operators. Their performance also makes them ideal for survival expeditions, airsoft (ASG) scenarios, and operations in cold environments.

PrimaLoft is a synthetic microfiber insulation material developed in the 1980s for the US military. It is composed of properly formed polyester microfibers that trap air inside, creating an insulating barrier with high compression capabilities. It features good water repellency (retains 96% of its properties when wet), windproofness, breathability and anti-allergenic properties.
D3O is a modern material with intelligent molecules that move freely during normal use. However, at the moment of impact, they fuse together, absorbing and dispersing energy, then rapidly return to an elastic state. As a result, the material effectively reduces vibration, protects hands from injury and reduces hand strain while working.
Durahide DRY is a technology that uses specially treated Durahide natural leather. The treatment makes the leather waterproof while maintaining high breathability and flexibility.
Clim8 is a smart heating technology used in Mechanix gloves that automatically adjusts the level of heat according to ambient conditions and the wearer's body temperature. With built-in sensors and control via a mobile app, the system actively regulates heating to ensure optimal thermal comfort without overheating. It works well in demanding winter conditions, offering precise and energy-efficient heat management.

Great product. I use them for riding my e-bike and they are fantastic. Tested at -4°C and my hands were nice and warm, set at half power. My hands have very low resistance to cold... I’ve already tried motorcycle gloves from Rev'It (H2O Liberty) and with those, even at full power, after about 20 minutes of riding my fingers were frozen. With these Mechanix gloves, the thermal comfort is excellent.

It’s good for mowing grass in winter and for walking the dog. They handle negative temperatures very well, just as well as when ice fishing—I recommend them.
