TrekDry

Breathable TrekDry form-fitting material, touchscreen support

The upper section of the gloves features a breathable, lightweight TrekDry fabric that is form-fitting to minimize hand sweating. High-strength synthetic leather on the palm delivers excellent grip and precise tactile feedback, while also enabling touchscreen device use without glove removal. Additional reinforcement has been added to the thumb and index finger with an extra material layer.

Cuff with ribbing

An extended cuff with ribbing delivers enhanced protection and ensures the gloves stay firmly in place on the wrist. The entry is designed with an extra-wide opening, allowing for effortless putting on of the gloves.

EN388 2121X and ANSI/ISEA 105 3XX standards

Engineered to comply with the American protective standard ANSI/ISEA 105 level 3XX for cut, abrasion, and puncture resistance, the gloves offer the following:

  • 3: abrasion resistance (rated on a 1 to 6 scale)
  • X: cut resistance (evaluated from A1 to A9)
  • X: puncture resistance (measured from 0 to 5)

Certified according to the EN388 level 2121X standard for mechanical protection, the gloves provide:

  • 2: abrasion resistance (scale ranges from 0 to 4)
  • 1: cut resistance (graded from 0 to 5)
  • 2: tear resistance (evaluated from 0 to 4)
  • 1: puncture resistance (measured on a 0 to 4 scale)
  • X: cut resistance – TDM test (ISO 13997) (classified from A to F)

Within the ANSI/ISEA 105 framework, abrasion resistance is assigned a level from 1 to 6 corresponding to the number of abrasion cycles before material breakdown. Cut resistance spans A1 to A9, rating protection from the lowest to the highest. Puncture resistance uses a 0 to 5 scale, indicating the force needed to penetrate the glove surface with a sharp object (excluding needle punctures).

According to the EN388 standard, the level of glove protection is set by the rated scales: a value of 0 signifies no protection, whereas the highest values (4, 5) represent maximum resistance levels.

The TDM (ISO 13997) test employs letter codes, with A denoting the lowest level of protection and F representing the highest protection level.

X marking signifies that the respective parameter was either not tested or is not applicable.

    Very comfortable gloves for everyday use – lightweight, fit well on the hand, and can be put on quickly thanks to the cuff. A plus for the materials – the grip is secure and you can easily do precise tasks, even use the phone without taking them off. They perform well at the shooting range, outdoors, or during regular tinkering in the garage. Just keep in mind that these are gloves for lighter tasks – for heavy-duty work they may wear out faster. However, at this price, it's really hard to complain. A very reasonable choice.

    I received gloves in a different color and in a new version, but I still consider them a good choice for basic gloves. I don't mind the darker shade of brown instead of coyote, although it was a surprise for me. I have been using FastFit as my everyday gloves for years and they usually last me for a season during bushcraft, hiking, or dog sports. The price is adequate for the quality.

    The gloves are comfortable and even fit the hands quite well. As for durability – it depends on what we expect from them. Perfect for the shooting range, but I wouldn’t take them on duty; they’re too thin and not resistant to punctures. But the price is also quite low.

    Very nice gloves for bushcraft or similar activities, mainly because of the inner side made of fairly durable imitation leather. Still, it's a pity that it's not genuine leather. The outer material is not very breathable and airy, even in summer, and unfortunately it's not resistant to sparks or similar things at all. The gloves fit the hand well, they fit almost perfectly.

    Great looking, lightweight gloves. I have as many as five pairs in different colors, and each one suits me. They fit the hand perfectly, and touch screen operation works without any problems. They might be too thin for very cold days, but in other conditions, they're really an excellent choice for the price.

    These are my first gloves and unfortunately I feel a bit disappointed – even though the size is correct, they do not fit my hands perfectly. They also lack a Velcro strap, which makes them seem easy to slip off. I'm concerned they won't be durable.

    They look great, very easy to put on and take off. Unfortunately, I don't recommend them for "heavy work"; I used them for about a month and a half during furniture deliveries and unfortunately, after this time, there are already holes on 5 fingertips. I recommend them for lighter work.

    For me, the gloves are just right for basic work at a forest camp. Now, in winter, they also provide a bit of warmth, and the material allows you to use your phone's touchscreen with any finger, not just your thumb and index finger – although you can forget about typing in them.

    I bought Mechanix gloves for the first time (previously I had read various opinions about the durability/price ratio) along with another model, i.e. the Original. Strangely, despite being thinner than the Original, during a walk with the dog at a temperature of -5°C, they seemed to protect my hands from the cold better.
