I've had the gloves in my compartment for quite a long time and in the end, an attractive price reduction led me to add them to my cart. They’ll be perfect for winter. As for workmanship, it's perfect. Double stitching, nothing sticks out, no unnecessary threads. The leather is thick but soft, rubber inserts protect the fingers and the top of the hand. I think these will be my favorite winter gloves.

An internal lining made from HPPE further enhances protection.
cut resistance and TPR panels
Combining rugged DuraHide leather with a durable HPPE lining, these gloves offer superior cut resistance, adhering to EN 388: 2016 Level F & ANSI A9 certifications. The tops feature panels crafted from TPR (thermoplastic rubber), providing exceptional protection against abrasions and external impacts. These panels comply with EN 13594 & ANSI 138 Level 2 standards and are equipped with specialized compartments, enabling finger flexibility and the ability to form a secure fist.
flexible design, cuff with protector, drawstring
Gloves deliver complete grip control without restricting precise movements. An extended cuff featuring internal protection safeguards the upper hand area. A flexible drawstring offers a secure fit at the wrist.
ANSI/ISEA 105-XA9X, ANSI/ISEA 138 Level 2, and EN388-4X43FP, EN511-22X standards
The gloves are engineered to comply with the American protection standard ANSI/ISEA 105 at level XA9X for resistance to cuts, abrasion, and punctures, signifying:
- X: abrasion resistance (rated from 1 to 6)
- A9: cut resistance (rated from A1 to A9)
- X: puncture resistance (ranked from 0 to 5)
Additionally, the gloves adhere to the American standard ANSI/ISEA 138 at level 2 for impact energy absorption, which entails:
- 1: basic level of impact protection
- 2: moderate protection level
- 3: highest protection level
The protective standard EN388 at level 4X43FP for mechanical performance is fulfilled, which means:
- 4: abrasion resistance (scale 0–4)
- X: cut resistance (scale 0–5)
- 4: tear strength (scale 0–4)
- 3: puncture resistance (scale 0–4)
- F: cut resistance by TDM test (ISO 13997) (scale A–F)
- P: impact protection (standard passed)
Adherence to cold weather protection under EN511 at level 22X is ensured, which means:
- 2: resistance to convective cold (scale 0–4)
- 2: resistance to contact cold (scale 0–4)
- X: resistance to water penetration (0 or 1)
Within the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, abrasion resistance is measured on a scale from 1 to 6, reflecting the number of abrasion cycles the material can sustain before showing wear. Cut resistance ranges on a scale from A1 to A9 (from minimal to maximum protection). Puncture resistance is evaluated on a scale from 0 to 5, indicating the pressure necessary to puncture the glove surface with a pointed probe (excluding needle puncture).
For the ANSI/ISEA 138 standard, evaluation of impact protection is based on the force transmitted (in kN) during an impact test. Lower transmitted force corresponds to a greater degree of protection offered by the gloves.
The grading systems in EN388 and EN511 show the protection levels provided: 0 represents no protection, while top values (4, 5) signify the highest resistance. For water penetration: 0 indicates failure, whereas 1 denotes imperviousness to penetration.
In the TDM (ISO 13997) cut resistance test, letter codes are used, with A for the lowest and F for the highest protection.
The X symbol signifies that a particular attribute was untested or not relevant. The P symbol confirms that the glove fulfills impact protection criteria.

TPR, or thermoplastic rubbeTPR, or thermoplastic rubber, is a material that combines the properties of rubber and plastic. It is flexible and durable, and is often used in the manufacture of tool handles, gaskets, footwear, and many other products, as it provides comfort, good grip and wear resistance.r, is a type of synthetic material that combines the properties of rubber and plastic. TPR is characterized by its flexibility and abrasion resistance.
PrimaLoft is a synthetic microfiber insulation material developed in the 1980s for the US military. It is composed of properly formed polyester microfibers that trap air inside, creating an insulating barrier with high compression capabilities. It features good water repellency (retains 96% of its properties when wet), windproofness, breathability and anti-allergenic properties.
Durahide DRY is a technology that uses specially treated Durahide natural leather. The treatment makes the leather waterproof while maintaining high breathability and flexibility.
HPPE (High Performance Polyethylene) is a lightweight, durable material resistant to abrasion and cuts. Used in safety gloves and workwear, among other applications, it combines high mechanical resistance with flexibility and wearing comfort.

I bought them with my motorcycle in mind for cold days. Yesterday it was 10 degrees. My balls froze, my hands didn't. Comfortable and warm. A bit stiff but it's only the first use. Overall, I'm super satisfied.

Warm, comfortable. The quality of workmanship is a plus. Durable. There is quite a lot of freedom of movement. Ideal for skiing. The inner leather is reinforced so it is visibly abrasion-resistant.
