A contemporary gauze field dressing impregnated with a hemostatic agent, designed for first aid administration and the immediate control of severe, life-threatening bleeding. Ideal for emergency response, disaster recovery efforts, and most critically, use in combat situations. Effective and secure application of the dressing necessitates prior instruction and familiarization.

Active agents in the field dressing—kaolin and sodium carboxymethylcellulose—rapidly achieve hemostasis by accelerating clot formation at bleeding sites upon direct contact with blood. Clotting typically occurs within 2-3 minutes post-application and remains intact even after wound irrigation with saline.

The field dressing possesses bactericidal properties, generates no exothermic reactions, does not result in burns, and will not adhere to the wound surface. Kaolin and carboxymethylcellulose, as active components, are extensively used in both the pharmaceutical and emergency medical sectors.

Each sterile package includes a single gauze strip sized 7.5 x 370 cm.
