MFH Commander Thermal Pants - OD Green
Insulated pants in OD Green designed for use in cold, windy and damp conditions. The construction combines nylon fabric in a Rip-Stop weave, lightweight polyester insulation and a quilted lining, providing leg protection and effective thermal insulation.
Water resistance rated at 5000 mm water column limits moisture penetration during light rainfall, contact with wet ground and field work. The outer material also protects against blasts of cold wind, while adjustable structural elements allow the pants to be fitted to the body, footwear or layers of clothing worn underneath.
durable nylon in Rip-Stop weave
The outer layer is made of 100% nylon in a Rip-Stop weave. The characteristic weave of reinforcing fibres reduces the risk of small tears spreading and increases the material's resistance to use. The nylon fabric is lightweight, durable and abrasion-resistant. The smooth surface makes it easier to put the pants on over an additional layer of clothing.
lightweight polyester insulation
Insulation is provided by filling made of 100% polyester. Synthetic fibres trap warmed air and reduce heat loss during use in low temperatures. The polyester insulation retains its properties in elevated humidity. Thanks to this, the pants perform well during outdoor activity in changeable weather conditions.
The inside of the pants is finished with a quilted polyester lining. The stitching stabilizes the insulation and limits its movement inside the legs.
Protection against moisture and wind
The outer material has water-resistant and wind-resistant properties. Water resistance rated at 5000 mm water column provides basic protection against light rain, snow, drizzle and damp ground. The construction limits the penetration of cold gusts of wind through the fabric. The materials are made without the use of PFAS compounds.
reinforcement of critical zones
In the rear part of the pants and around the knees, additional material reinforcements have been used. These zones are particularly exposed to abrasion, pressure and contact with the ground. The reinforcements increase the durability of the construction during squatting, sitting, kneeling and working in various positions.
two-way zippers
The model features side two-way zippers running along the full length of the legs. This solution makes it easier to put on and take off the pants without having to remove footwear and allows easy access to the pockets of clothing worn underneath. The fly is also fastened with a two-way zipper, protected by a velcro-closed strip. The strip limits wind and moisture access along the fastening.
elastic waist, loops, adjustable legs
The waist features an elastic construction and adjustment by means of velcro fasteners. This allows the circumference of the pants to be adjusted to the body shape and the layers worn underneath. The raised rear part of the waist protects the lower back and limits the formation of a gap between the pants and the upper part of the clothing.
The model uses sturdy loops with an extended construction and a length of approx. 6 cm. The lower parts of the legs are equipped with an elastic finish and velcro fasteners. They allow their width to be adjusted to footwear and help limit cold air from getting in from below.
