I chose the medium-sized stove. So far it has been with me on two trips and I am delighted. The stove replaces a full-size campfire while maintaining top safety, there is even an ash tray, after burning there is almost no trace left. Thanks to the large size, you can put in big pieces of wood, which significantly extends the burning time on one load. The folding system is very quick, it beats folding stoves made from metal sheets by far. The only drawback is indeed the weight, which disqualifies it from being taken on long hikes, but for a family camping trip it's perfect.
