It's fine, it's light-colored so it doesn't heat up, the tie under the chin is useful in windy weather or in difficult terrain where a fall could mean losing the hat. The brim is a bit small, so it doesn't protect the neck or forehead very well.
Modeled after the Bush Hat utilized by the British Army, this military hat features a chin strap with an adjustable stopper for a secure and customizable fit.
Constructed from a lightweight, highly durable fabric, the hat offers excellent resistance to abrasion and tearing, and dries more quickly than materials made entirely of cotton. A sewn tape above the brim provides additional functionality for attaching or carrying small gear. Ideal for head protection during sunny conditions.

Woodland Camouflage
Woodland, often referred to as U.S. Woodland or M81, stands as a quintessential camouflage pattern first adopted by the United States Armed Forces in the early 1980s, originating from the earlier ERDL design. Serving as the standard issue for the US military for more than twenty years, its usage extended until the close of the first decade of the 21st century. Distinguished by broad, irregular shapes in green, brown, beige, and black hues, the pattern delivers excellent concealment and disruptive capabilities, particularly within forested environments. The notable efficiency and worldwide recognition of this camo have led to the creation of numerous variants, now present in over 60 military uniforms across the globe. Beyond its military roots, the pattern has made a significant mark on popular culture, transitioning from battlefield gear to a staple of everyday apparel.

Very nice hat at a good price. Both the workmanship and material are of good quality. The brim is not too wide, so it doesn't block your view when lying down. Most importantly, it doesn't "shine" and offers good camouflage. I recommend it.

I usually have trouble with the MFH company when it comes to choosing the right hat size. I should take one for a 58cm head circumference but... in this and other cases I had to choose between M=57cm or L=59cm. I took the latter and it's a bit loose (with very short hair it's even too loose). But when my hair grows back, say in autumn, it will be just right. In general, the hat is well made, the material is very breathable, and the price is reasonable.

Very good hat for not much money. The hat is made of good material, breathable, dries quickly. Tested in the Turkish mountains. I recommend it.
