M95 CZ Camo (Vz. 95) is a Czech camouflage pattern that became the official issue of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic in 1995. Despite its formal introduction in the 1990s, the design originated in 1985, initially intended for the Czechoslovak Army, though it was not put into service at the time. The Vz. 95 camouflage, also referred to as the “leaf pattern,” draws influence from the American M1948 ERDL pattern but utilizes a unique and more subdued palette. It is characterized by irregular shapes in black, gray-green, and olive green, all set on a lighter green base, making this pattern especially effective in Central European woodland and forested environments.
