I bought it because it doesn't have any extra screws that could fall apart right away. I haven't used it yet, but in hand it feels a bit like a toy and I think it might be suitable only for soft soil.

I do not recommend this entrenching tool. It is intended solely for surface digging in sand. After my third use of this tool, it broke. It cracked and was not suitable for repair. I do not recommend it!!!!

Honestly, I thought it would be worse, but it has served me for almost a year and somehow manages to get by.

Just right for the beach and not for every type of soil.

Good quality workmanship. More solid than all the foldable/assembled ones I've had...mixed experiences with those. I recommend it.

Good entrenching tool, for the price it does well, used for chopping and digging, but I would recommend doing that in moderation, but for me, it's suitable for simple tasks :) Negative: excess molded plastic that needed to be lightly trimmed with a knife, purely aesthetic.
