The gloves are okay for the price. Regarding sizing: if you think you need size L, I recommend taking a size up, as they will be very tight otherwise. The plastic on top looks nice, imitating carbon, and it does protect the knuckles. They are probably not suitable for 'defense' purposes.

Be careful with sizing, I recommend taking a larger size; I got an L and my hand fits just right. (M-Tac’s M size fit me perfectly) These gloves are very similar to the M-Tac Assault (Mk.4) and seem a bit more solid and almost as comfortable. The only two flaws I notice: the removable material for screen use leaves a gap where wind can get in, which exposes those two fingers more, and the knuckle protection is very shiny, as shown in the picture. Despite seeming a bit more solid, I preferred the Assaults—they’re more comfortable and cost 2/3 of the price.

The gloves fit well, it is worth taking a larger size, the knuckle reinforcement sits nicely and protects well. The cut index finger and thumb make it easy to use touch screens.
