Very comfortable hat. The wool does not itch and the turned-up material protects the ears well from frost. In stronger winds, it might be less comfortable. All in all, a very good choice and it also looks nice.

The hat is warm and comfortable, and fits well on the head. In my case, I did not feel the wool "itching." I bought this hat to replace my military hat, which exposes the ears and fits terribly on the head. The MFH hat is nicer to the touch and has a better knit than the identical Mil-Tec one.
