Radios support operation on 32 channels within the PMR frequency band (including 16+16 pre-set channels) and 69 channels in LPD mode, with access to 38 CTCSS tones and 104 DCS codes for both transmission and reception. Users also benefit from the capability to monitor 2 channels simultaneously.
Practical functions
The XT70 PRO features a VOX function for hands-free, voice-activated transmission, a Roger Beep signaling the end of each transmission, a scanner for continuous channel sweeps, adjustable range control, and a noise lock with 9 selectable levels. Temporary noise lock override enables the reception of weak signals, while the Vibra-CALL function delivers silent notifications. Additional features include a button lock and a 2-pin Midland/Icom accessory connector for enhanced versatility.
