The backpack cover is very large – you could almost use it as a small tent. Ribstoo is present, although the cover material itself is not the thickest. I decided on this purchase to better protect my bag. An additional strap with a buckle in the middle provides greater security and prevents losing the cover.

It's better to have excess protective material than to have to choose which part of the backpack to leave uncovered, especially when you have the option of adjustment (the tightening strap that holds the cover is fine, and the drawstrings are a plus).
