Simple, inexpensive, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's perfectly sufficient for map work—the scale is clear, the needle responds quickly without any lag. The mirror is a nice addition, makes aiming for bearings easier, and can be useful in the field for other things. There are no fancy features here, but that's actually a plus—everything is intuitive and works. If someone needs a basic compass for the outdoors, learning, or as a backup in a backpack, this is definitely a good choice.

The compass is perfect for working with a map. The mirror can also be used as a signaling tool and to inspect the body for ticks in the field. Thanks to the magnetic needle, it reacts faster than compasses with a floating dial. Besides, it works well even while walking.

This particular little compass is sufficient for me. It works perfectly for working with maps and teaching my grandson how to use it is quite simple and understandable for a young person.

The little mirror is very useful, and the compass itself as well – it even points north ;) So far I haven't noticed any flaws – maybe the compass lid clasp seems weak but it doesn't affect using the compass itself – I recommend it!
