I bought the NRC Mil-Tec Survival thermal poncho - Silver for my husband at the front back in 2023, under the Helikon Swagman Roll Basic - Olive Green poncho. Since then, it has repeatedly been tested in conditions where it was not possible to warm up with anything else. And it doesn’t take up space in the backpack and doesn’t add weight, which is very important for the military. We recommend it! Thank you to the store for quality goods and service!

I give 3 stars because I haven't used it in the rain yet and I don't know if it's waterproof, but I optimistically assume it is. The material is very thin. It feels like it's going to tear at any moment. It rustles a lot. If you walk half a meter from another person, it is hard to understand what they are saying. It's short. I am 180 cm tall and it barely reaches past my buttocks. So in case of rain, my underwear will probably get wet, and definitely my legs will.

Very good product. Much more practical than typical thermal blankets. An excellent alternative to a heavy poncho. Definitely something worth having in your basic gear.

A good alternative to a heavy poncho and it's worth having even when no rain is expected, but if rain does surprise you, it works just fine.

Decent product. Much more practical than typical "blankets" although they have their use, especially when covering not yourself but someone else. I recommend it. For any expedition where secrecy isn't necessary ;-) it works perfectly. It's one of those things that you simply shouldn't just consider having, but must have in your basic gear.

2 in 1. Can be used in an emergency – to prevent hypothermia and as protection against rain. Great.
