Replica of the Prussian artillery officer's saber. First introduced in 1884, sabers of this model were designed specifically for ceremonial and representational purposes, and up until the 1930s, frequently served as honorary awards for extended service.
The 81 cm blade is crafted from carbon steel. The hilt consists of wood wrapped with goatskin. The brass pommel features a lion's head directed toward the cross guard, with its distinctive ruby-like red eyes. Both the cross guard and hilt are fashioned from brass and further embellished with decorative motifs. Thanks to its precise reproduction of the original's look, dimensions, and weight, this saber is a superb piece for any collection.
Included in the set is a steel scabbard, complete with fittings for saber attachment.
