I highly recommend this hat, I bought it for skiing. The hat is surprisingly warm and when fastened, the wind doesn't blow into your ears at all. For this price, it's amazing.

The cap is super warm and very nicely made. I ride my bike in it when it's below 0°C and you can't feel any wind. You have to be careful with the attachment of those little ears—it's best not to touch them because the elastic just comes off the attachment. Unfortunately, the sizing on the website is incorrect: size L is labeled 59-60, and XL 61-62, so I had to return it. 2 cm too much makes a difference, for example on a bike.

It fits better than the previous ushanka (different cut) that I bought, I don't remember where. In both cases, I measured my head circumference, the other one falls off, this one fits perfectly. Protects against frost and wind, I don't know about water resistance—a -10 frost isn't the time for rain—but the hat dries faster than wool. The smaller ear flaps also make a difference, whether they are up or down.
