I bought this bread for the first time purely out of curiosity. Considering the listed ingredients and the long shelf life, it tastes really good, especially after the suggested finishing bake. It works very well for emergency situations.
Military Natural Leaven Rye Bread with 24 mths shelf life - 400 g
or sign up for availability notification
A loaf of rye bread with a long shelf life of up to 24 months. Made with natural sourdough, without added preservatives. Excellent for military, prepping, sailing, and outdoor use.
Two layers of foil effectively protect the bread from moisture and the effects of other external factors. At the same time, they make it possible to preserve its unchanged taste throughout the entire storage period.
The bread is made from rye flour with the addition of wheat flour. A single loaf weighs 400 g, and thanks to its shape it is easy to carry and store.
During its shelf life, the bread can be easily refreshed in several different ways:
- in a microwave - after removing the outer foil, place the loaf in the microwave for 3 minutes at 900W, then remove the inner foil and slice the bread,
- in an oven - after removing the outer foil, place the loaf in an oven preheated to 90-100°C for about 30 minutes, after removing the inner foil and cooling, slice the bread,
- in a toaster - after removing both layers of foil, slice the bread and place it in the toaster,
- in water - without removing the foil, immerse the bread in water at a temperature of 90°C for about 30 minutes, after cooling remove it from the foil, slice after another 20 minutes,
- in a flameless chemical heater - without removing the foil, place the loaf in the heater, pour the designated amount of water onto the chemical insert.
Thanks to its ingredients, the bread contains live lactic acid bacteria cultures and over 30% more fiber compared to wheat bread. In addition, it is characterized by a high content of B vitamins, including niacin, and vitamin E.
The breads have been repeatedly used by the Polish Armed Forces during peacekeeping operations, as well as by Civil Defense services during natural disasters.

I bought this bread for the first time out of curiosity. Considering its stated shelf life and ingredients, it tastes surprisingly good, especially after the suggested finish baking. It works excellently in emergency situations, which is why I am ordering it again.

People who care mostly about taste won't be thrilled—it's not fresh bakery bread, it's an emergency supply loaf designed to sit on the shelf for years. However, the taste is fine, especially when there's nothing else at hand. As an iron reserve for all crisis situations, it's irreplaceable.

The bread is suitable for consumption even several years after the expiry date, as I have checked myself. It tastes quite good, although nothing extraordinary. In my opinion, it is an essential item for preparedness for tough times, considering our eating habits. I recommend the product and the shop Militaria.pl.

The taste is good, solid packaging, long expiration date. It's worth having at home in case of emergencies, or just as a backup if you forget to shop :) I recommend it.

Military Rye Bread with 24 months shelf life - 700 g is probably one of the most useful food item at Militaria. You can store it for a long time on your shelves or just consume it as a normal daily or weekly bread with butter or pâté.
-
Tasty bread, long expiry date. Ideal for mountain trips, mushroom picking, or survival hikes into the forest. I've ordered it several times already, highly recommend it.
-
Definitely recommend. The price may not be the lowest, but this is not a product for everyday use. Attached is a photo confirming the fresh bake (best before 20.03.2027). A request to Militaria.pl: better to ship such products in cardboard boxes. The first one I bought I had to return because it was completely crushed by the courier who tried to force it into too small a locker (bigger than letter-size) in the parcel machine.

Elegantly packed bread with extended shelf life. Easy to refresh in many ways. Tastes like military canned bread. Nutritious bread, very filling :) Worth having for a rainy day, e.g., when stores are closed during holidays :)
-
Well packaged in two layers of foil. Needs to be refreshed as per the instructions on the foil before eating. The taste is quite good. Long shelf life, could be a little cheaper. But, you get what you pay for. Worth recommending.

I bought it again because I used the previous breads just before they expired. Let it sit and wait for tough times. Overall a good product, tastes like regular darker bread.
-
Long shelf life and the possibility of refreshing make it essential in emergency rations. Well secured, double foil packaging. I recommend it.

Well packaged. Unfortunately, it needs to be refreshed according to the instructions before eating. The taste is quite good. Long shelf life. Good for the price.
-
A piece of bread, even quite good. Perfect for a backpack, car trunk when hunger strikes :) The long expiry date is also a plus. Also suitable for trips and camping. I recommend it.
