MK Knives & Tools Humbler Silesian Folding Knife - Black

Folding knife measuring a total of 177 mm in length, with a blade length of 75 mm and featuring a Drop-Point blade profile crafted from CPM MagnaCut stainless steel, delivering exceptional durability along with excellent resistance to wear and corrosion. The blade is finished with a satin surface. Equipped with a Liner Lock mechanism, the handle is fitted with G10 laminate scales. Renowned Polish knife designer Marcin Kampka is responsible for the knife’s design.

CPM Magnacut stainless steel

Featuring a blade crafted from CPM MagnaCut stainless steel, this knife delivers superior corrosion resistance, exceptional edge retention, effortless sharpening, and outstanding resistance to chipping.

Drop-Point blade, flat grind

Equipped with a Drop-Point blade profile, this knife provides a robust tip, straightforward sharpening, and excellent cutting characteristics. Blade length measures 75 mm, with a thickness of 3 mm. A flat grind is used for the blade finish. The blade features a satin finish, delivering a semi-matte appearance. Textured notches, or jimping, are integrated into the blade spine, ensuring a stable thumb rest and enhanced control during cutting tasks.

flipper, ceramic ball bearings, Liner Lock

A flipper mechanism allows for effortless one-handed deployment of the knife. The opening action benefits from a ceramic ball bearing integrated into the main axis for smoother operation. Blade security is ensured by the robust Liner Lock mechanism.

Sturdy Torx screws are used to secure the knife’s construction, while a Pivot type rotation axis attaches the blade to the handle, providing excellent stability throughout the mechanism.

G10 laminate scales, steel clip

The scales of the ergonomically contoured handle are crafted from G10 laminate, which offers high resistance to mechanical wear and environmental impacts, with a black finish reminiscent of CarbonTex. A flexible steel clip in the tip-up position ensures comfortable everyday carry, allowing for straightforward attachment of the knife to a belt or pocket seam. The clip is positioned on the right side.

CPM MagnaCut feature
CPM MagnaCut
CPM MagnaCut is a stainless tool steel developed by Crucible Industries and produced using powder metallurgy (CPM). It is characterized by high strength, high wear resistance, and very good corrosion resistance, despite its relatively low chromium content (10.7%). The steel is comparable to the best tool steels, such as CPM-4V or Vanadis 4E, offering high resistance to cracking and chipping. Thanks to the use of free chromium and carbides formed mainly by vanadium (4%), CPM MagnaCut is less brittle and resistant to abrasion, even with a hardness of 60-64 HRC. In addition, the presence of niobium (2%) and molybdenum (2%) ensures stability at high temperatures, making the steel ideal for harsh working conditions. The composition of CPM MagnaCut also includes 1.15% carbon, which ensures adequate hardness and edge durability, making this steel valued in the manufacture of tools and weapons.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
