MK Knives & Tools Humbler Skyline Folding Knife - Blue

Folding knife with an overall length of 177 mm and a blade measuring 75 mm, featuring a Drop-Point blade profile crafted from CPM MagnaCut stainless steel for superior durability, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. The blade boasts a satin finish. The handle is equipped with a Liner Lock mechanism and robust G10 laminate scales. Renowned Polish knife designer Marcin Kampka is the creator behind this model.

CPM Magnacut stainless steel

Forged from CPM MagnaCut stainless steel, the blade delivers exceptional corrosion resistance, superior edge retention, easy sharpening, and notable protection against chipping.

Drop-Point blade, flat grind

Equipped with a Drop-Point blade profile, this knife offers a robust tip, straightforward sharpening, and excellent cutting performance. The blade measures 75 mm in length and has a thickness of 3 mm. Featuring a flat grind, the blade ensures reliable slicing capability. Finished using the satin technique, the blade achieves a semi-matte appearance. Jimping—textured grooves located on the spine—provides a stable place for the thumb, enhancing grip security and control during use.

flipper, ceramic ball bearings, Liner Lock

Deployment of the knife is facilitated by a flipper, enabling smooth one-handed operation. The opening action is optimized by a ceramic ball bearing integrated into the main pivot. A Liner Lock mechanism ensures secure blade lockup.

Robust Torx screws secure the knife's overall build, while a Pivot style rotation axis links the blade to the handle, guaranteeing the stability of the mechanism.

G10 laminate scales, steel clip

Featuring an ergonomically designed handle, the scales are crafted from durable G10 laminate that is highly resistant to both mechanical impacts and environmental influences. The handle sports a blue CarbonTex-inspired style. A flexible steel clip in the tip-up configuration ensures secure and comfortable everyday carry, allowing for effortless attachment of the knife to a belt or pocket edge. The clip is positioned on the right side.

CPM MagnaCut feature
CPM MagnaCut
CPM MagnaCut is a stainless tool steel developed by Crucible Industries and produced using powder metallurgy (CPM). It is characterized by high strength, high wear resistance, and very good corrosion resistance, despite its relatively low chromium content (10.7%). The steel is comparable to the best tool steels, such as CPM-4V or Vanadis 4E, offering high resistance to cracking and chipping. Thanks to the use of free chromium and carbides formed mainly by vanadium (4%), CPM MagnaCut is less brittle and resistant to abrasion, even with a hardness of 60-64 HRC. In addition, the presence of niobium (2%) and molybdenum (2%) ensures stability at high temperatures, making the steel ideal for harsh working conditions. The composition of CPM MagnaCut also includes 1.15% carbon, which ensures adequate hardness and edge durability, making this steel valued in the manufacture of tools and weapons.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
