Some of the best winter walking gloves for the autumn-winter season that I have tested—they provide a nice balance between warmth and the ability to move your fingers. As for the downsides, they are advertised as water/wind resistant, but I would debate that a bit. The gloves fit the skin very closely and are quite thin (which is actually a plus), but unfortunately, this means that any moisture or stronger wind is noticeable. Despite this, I recommend them if you need something in which you can still easily operate your phone/equipment without getting frostbite from constantly taking off thicker gloves.
