The Mountval impregnation, like most products of this type, in my opinion, never restores the factory DWR coating. However, compared to products from Grangers or Nikwax, it is very efficient, pleasantly scented, and costs much less. Additionally, if I'm not mistaken, it is a Polish product, so I recommend it.
A waterproofing solution engineered for garments and other textile components of gear. Suitable for waterproof membranes, such as Gore-Tex, eVent.

I use it to waterproof trekking shoes. It protects the shoes very well against moisture. It’s convenient to use and I think it’s quite durable for the price, so it’s ideal.
