The holder has already been tested and I must admit it is a great product. I haven't had the chance to use the more expensive aluminum model, but this plastic one really does the job and I think it's sufficient for hanging a line under the tarp - it holds very well and makes tightening the line easier. I definitely recommend it.

The carabiners are cool, you no longer need to play with knots. Perfect for a hammock ridgeline and for tarp guy lines. We'll see about durability. So far, tested on a trip into the deep woods, they work well.

I recommend it. The holder has been with me for a long time and used multiple times in very unfavorable conditions. If you choose the right line, it won't give under tension, even in wet conditions and subzero temperatures. In my case, the material still hasn't worn out.

A great thing for setting up a tarp, but the number of uses is only limited by your imagination. The carabiners hold up well in strong winds with a 4x5 tarp. It greatly speeds up setting up the tarp. Of course, you can do without this gadget, but it makes life easier.
