Nite Ize

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Nite Ize.

Nite Ize is an American brand from Colorado, founded in 1989 by Rick Case - a student who, during night fishing, got stuck with a flashlight in his mouth and... dropped it into the water. This incident sparked the idea for the Headband Mini Flashlight Holder, and today the company offers more than 500 innovative EDC accessories. The brand gained recognition thanks to the S-Biner - a double carabiner that became as famous as icons such as the Coca-Cola glass bottle - and became a symbol of functional design. In 2024, Nite Ize obtained the rare three-dimensional trademark for the shape of the S-Biner. Products such as Gear Tie, flexible and reusable ties for organizing cords, and Tru Zip, an innovative waterproof toothless zipper, show how Nite Ize turns everyday problems into simple, brilliant solutions. Today, the company employs about 250 people, generates over USD 100 million in annual revenue, and is present in markets around the world.

Automatically prepared based on reviews

This cord tightener is a highly practical accessory that makes setting up a tarp, hammock, shelter line, or securing gear much faster and easier. Users praise its lightweight yet sturdy aluminum construction, strong grip on the cord, and simple tension adjustment without tying knots. It works reliably even with thicker paracord, stays secure under use, and proves useful for camping, travel, vehicles, and workshop tasks. The main drawback is the relatively high price, but most reviewers consider it worth the cost because of its quality and convenience.

A brilliant gadget. The aluminum construction is lightweight yet very sturdy. The lock holds securely and lets you tighten the cord in an instant without struggling with knots. Perfect for camping and for the car.

It just works as it should. I use thick paracord (the original 550 one). The cord tightens very well. In my experience, it has never loosened, and I have used it many times.

A rather expensive piece of equipment, but definitely useful. I bought it for extraction systems—I know that such a gadget can be replaced with the right knots, but I'm lazy ;) From what I can tell, it's made to last and has the load capacity I need. It could be a bit cheaper, but overall I recommend the product and the manufacturer.

Great thing. Irreplaceable when attaching the tarp over the hammock. I'm buying a second one because it does the job. Another successful purchase from the Militaria.pl offer. Another big plus! Thank you.

Very good grip, durable and well made. I bought two pieces for tensioning heavier items. I recommend it.

Brilliant solution, drastically simplifies tightening the cord for a tarp. Two-thirds of the job is done. Combined with a suitable, non-stretchable line – fantastic! There's also a plastic version, but due to concerns about heavy loads in frost, I went for the slightly heavier but certified version. The plastic one does not have a load certificate.
