description

The CamJam XT Cord Tightener is a high-quality tool made from cast aluminum, designed for tightening cords. It combines a carabiner with a cam mechanism that lets you secure, tension, and connect ropes under heavy load. Simply attach the carabiner to a fixed anchor point, then use the cam mechanism to connect, tension, and easily release the cord.

It features a carabiner with a stainless steel wire gate (wire type). The rotating cam mechanism locks automatically under load and stays locked until released by turning the lever. It allows repeated tension adjustments without needing to unclip the cord. The CamJam is ideal for securing and joining heavy loads in two ways: as a loop adjuster (Loop System) and as a fixed end tightener (Fixed End System). The load limit for a single unit is 227 kg, and the carabiner’s maximum strength is as high as 680 kg. Suitable for cords with a diameter from 3 to 9.5 mm.

This product is not intended for use in climbing safety or other applications involving high loads.

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Nite Ize.

Nite Ize is an American brand from Colorado, founded in 1989 by Rick Case - a student who, during night fishing, got stuck with a flashlight in his mouth and... dropped it into the water. This incident sparked the idea for the Headband Mini Flashlight Holder, and today the company offers more than 500 innovative EDC accessories. The brand gained recognition thanks to the S-Biner - a double carabiner that became as famous as icons such as the Coca-Cola glass bottle - and became a symbol of functional design. In 2024, Nite Ize obtained the rare three-dimensional trademark for the shape of the S-Biner. Products such as Gear Tie, flexible and reusable ties for organizing cords, and Tru Zip, an innovative waterproof toothless zipper, show how Nite Ize turns everyday problems into simple, brilliant solutions. Today, the company employs about 250 people, generates over USD 100 million in annual revenue, and is present in markets around the world.

Review for model:

A very useful gadget for camping or for setting up and tensioning all kinds of lines, e.g., for a tarp, etc. Saves time, especially when you have to set up a tarp in the rain. Withstand over 200 kg, so it will even hold a hammock.

Very nice, sturdy carabiner from a proven, reputable company. They are relatively small but durable. Good materials and solid workmanship. I think the price is fair for what we get.

Review for model:

Amazing. It may be a small carabiner, but it has such a wide range of uses. Clamping, fastening, lifting. The only limit in its use is our imagination. Made to the highest standards. I recommend it.

Solid "carabiner" - rope tensioner. Supports lines with a diameter from 3 to 9 mm. The working load limit is 227 kg. Good for securing transport on a car trailer, in the garage, and it will also work well on a camping trip.

Review for model:

Very solid workmanship, an ingenious mounting method, and trouble-free operation. A quick solution for mounting, e.g., a tarp, hammock, or luggage. Very wide range of lines used depending on the version of the carabiner; small or large, which makes this carabiner very universal.
